1. Fees and semesters

The sporting year consists of two semesters (September to December and January to June). The club confirms the applicable teaching calendar and session rate privately. For a student joining during a term, tuition covers the remaining scheduled sessions from the agreed first ordinary class after the free trial; school-holiday closures are excluded. The applicable amount is provided before payment.

2. Registration fee

A one-time registration fee applies to new TaekFunDo registrations only. There is no separate registration fee for Taekwondo. Any applicable fee is itemised in the individual fee calculation provided by the club.

3. No-refund policy

Paid fees are final. No partial or full refund will be granted, regardless of the reason for discontinuing participation.

4. Cancellation and automatic renewal

Enrolment renews for the next academic term unless written cancellation notice (email or SMS) is received at least one calendar month before that term begins. The club communicates the next term’s start date and the exact notice deadline. Notice is dated when received, even if processed later. Only the administrator records the cancellation. Any recurring automatic debit requires the parent’s separate payment authorisation; withdrawing a payment authorisation does not itself cancel enrolment.

5. Absences

Every absence must be reported to the coaching team. Absences do not entitle the member to a fee deduction, a postponed session or a refund.

6. Required insurance

Each member, or their legal representatives, must obtain and maintain valid health/accident insurance and civil liability insurance.

7. Medical fitness

Any specific medical condition or contraindication to martial arts practice must be declared before this contract is concluded.

8. Liability disclaimer

Koryo Club declines liability for injury, accident or theft inside the premises, during training or outside the club.

9. Equipment and damage

Use of club equipment is the member’s responsibility. Deliberate damage or damage caused by negligence will engage the civil liability of the member or their representatives.

10. Official uniform and affiliation

For Taekwondo, the official uniform and the annual Swiss federation fee are itemised separately when applicable. A uniform already provided and a federation fee already paid for the applicable annual period are not charged again. These Taekwondo extras do not automatically apply to TaekFunDo.

11. Club rules and parental authority

Signing this contract implies full acceptance of the club rules. For members under 16, the contract must be validated and signed by a legal representative.
