1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Koryo Taekwondo Club. By accessing our website (koryo.club) or enrolling in any of our programs (TaekFundo, Juniors, Seniors, Champs, or Private Lessons), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland and France, depending on the location of your enrollment.

2. Registration and Membership

  • Members must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
  • Parents or legal guardians must complete the registration on behalf of minors (under 18 years of age).
  • Membership fees, trial costs, and private coaching rates (e.g., 250 CHF/Hour for private sessions) must be paid in full according to the agreed billing cycle.

3. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver

Taekwondo and martial arts involve strenuous physical activity and inherently carry a risk of injury. By enrolling, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You (or your child) are physically fit to participate in such activities.
  • Koryo Taekwondo Club, its master (Master Hamed), instructors, and staff shall not be held liable for any personal injury, property damage, or loss sustained during training, sparring, or events, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
  • Participants are required to follow all safety guidelines and instructor commands at all times.

4. Code of Conduct

We uphold the core tenets of Taekwondo: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit. Any member demonstrating aggressive, disrespectful, or unsportsmanlike behavior toward instructors, peers, or facility property may have their membership terminated without a refund.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including texts, logos, graphics, and training videos, is the intellectual property of Koryo Taekwondo Club. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content for commercial purposes without our explicit written permission.

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

For operations and memberships in Switzerland, these terms are governed by Swiss law, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vaud/Geneva. For operations in France, these terms are governed by French law, and disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to active members via email. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
